Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska provides essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children require healthcare far from home. With locations in Seattle and Anchorage, they offer over 48,000 nights of housing each year to families whose children are receiving treatment at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Alaska Native Medical Center.
The housing, meals, essential support and community Ronald McDonald House provides ease many burdens for families who stay there. The consistency of the House allows families to stay close to their children during extended medical treatment and gives them time and space to more fully focus on their child’s healing.
Since its founding in 1983, the Ronald McDonald House has grown into a multisite campus, serving more than 2200 families each year from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. TRI-TEC is proud to partner with this compassionate organization, committed to helping them continue their mission by ensuring reliable communication, safety, and superior service in every aspect of our support.
A valued TRI-TEC customer for over two decades, we have had the privilege of partnering with RMHC from the installation of their initial on-prem Mitel business telephone and voice mail system, Wide Area Network, to software and platform upgrades throughout the years. Most recently, we assisted with the upgrade of their communications system to include secure IP real-time camera surveillance throughout their campus along with a Ruckus Wireless solution.
RMHC recently underwent a campus expansion to accommodate more family housing. TRI-TEC stepped up to the plate and expedited the expansion of their existing Wireless solution so they could open in time. Our creativity and network partnerships enabled us to quickly provide all necessary equipment at a challenging time of supply chain shortages. And with safety and health being of top priority, TRI-TEC staff strictly adheres to all CDC guidelines so that families can remain healthy and continue to care for their loved ones.
